Here is an important message from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. After a disaster, area health departments will determine if it’s safe to drink tap water. If officials say tap water is not safe, drink bottled water. If you can’t get bottled water, boil whatever clear water you have. Boiling will kill most germs that cause disease. Boil clear water for one minute, let it cool, and store it in clean containers with covers. Learn more at 1-800-CDC-INFO.
